US Stove (Wood/Coal) Furnace Ash Pan Weldment.  Replacement for Hot Blast & Johnson Energy Furnaces.  The ash pan allows you to remove excess ash that has fallen through the grates down into the bottom of the unit.  It is important to inspect your ash pan on a regular basis.  You should not allow ashes to stack higher than the sides of the ash pan.  If the ashes accumulate higher than the sides of the pan it may allow dust and ashes to fall out onto the floor when it is removed.
