Quadra-Fire Snap Disc #1 (Convection Blower): SRV230-0960-AMP

Snap Disc #1 (Convection Blower) F125°-20

Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the appliance on the top of the heat exchanger box. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. This switch is used on the original Mt Vernon Stove (not AE or E2) and the Contour.

If your room air convection blower does not turn on or will not turn off, this switch may need to be replaced.

This switch is normally open and closes the convection blower circuit at 125°F to turn on the blower. When the stove has cooled to 20°F below 125°F (105°F), the circuit is returned back to open and power to the blower circuit is cut.

NOTE: Power is always present at snap disc #1. Unplug your stove before attempting any service.
