What do baffle blankets do? Baffle blankets are used to insulate the firebox and take the brunt of the flame, allowing the inside of the stove to reach higher temperatures. The result? Without a baffle blanket, your stove will burn cooler, create more creosote, have smokier fires, and throw less heat into your house.
