Jotul F400 Castine Glass (METAL CHANNEL VERSION): 156209-WC-AMP
This is a replacement glass for Jotul F400 Castine Wood Stoves With a Single Door and “U” shaped channel in the door for glass gasket placement.
The measurements are 18-5/8″W x 11-7/16″H x 1/8″T with a top arch.
Important Notes Two versions of this glass were made with different thicknesses:
- If your stove door has a “U” shaped channel around the perimeter of the decorative webbing on your door, your stove takes 1/8″ thick glass (This Product). And will use a 1/4″ LD round rope gasket which is pressed into that channel on top of a thin bead of gasket cement to hold the gasket in place.
- If your stove does not have the “U” shaped channel, and the glass gasket was a flat tape style that was applied directly onto the glass and folded over the edges your stove takes 3/16″ thick glass.
