Ashley Steel Shaker Handle for 22AF: 40260

Ashley Coal / Wood Furnace Steel Shaker Handle.  This handle will simply push on to the stub coming off the end of the shaker grate.  The handle allows you to shake the interior grate of the furnace from side to side. 

It is important to vigorously shake the shaker grate 1/2″ from left to right to spill ashes into the ash pan at least once every 12 hours (This should also be done when loading fuel.  See  your manual for more detailed information).
